About Us:
History Five
friends came together at a signage exhibition in America and decided to
develop a CNC Router. After a year nothing happened and Ken Koelling,
now president of MultiCam, decided to go it alone.
In 1992 the
first MultiCam CNC Router was introduced, with a unique open
architecture design. Targeted at the Sign Industry, it was an instant
success.
In 1996 Maizey Plastics became the South African
Distributor for MultiCam Products. In 2001 the distributorship was taken
over by MATSA cc, trading as MultiCam RSA. The owner, George Hess,
decided to start a MultiCam distributorship in Australia and surrounding
countries. In January 2006, CDAS Elektro-Meganiese Werke cc bought the
sole distributorship for Africa south of the equator and surrounding
islands.
Today Stiaan
and Antoinette Viljoen are the proud owners of MultiCam RSA since
January 2006. Both Stiaan and Antoinette were born in the Western
Cape.
