A Germiston team built around real workshop work
MultiCAM is based in Germiston and works with fabricators, sign shops and furniture makers across South Africa. Our team handles machine sales, installations, service calls, operator training and tooling support, so the work is varied and hands on. If you enjoy the pace of a busy technical environment and you can stay calm when a workshop needs help, you will fit in well.
We hire for practical ability as much as paper qualifications. Some roles need strong machine knowledge, others need good customer communication, tidy admin or disciplined field work. A good candidate understands that downtime costs money, so the job is to keep things moving with care and honesty.
Roles we commonly hire for
Our staffing needs change as projects grow, but we often look for people in technical, sales and support functions. If you have experience with CNC equipment, electrical work, mechanical servicing, workshop planning or parts control, send us your CV even if there is no role listed right now.
- Technical and service technicians
- Installation and commissioning support
- Sales consultants with workshop knowledge
- Applications and training support
- Parts, tooling and stock coordination
- Service administration and customer support
What we value on the job
We work with machinery that must be set up correctly and looked after properly. That means attention to detail matters, along with clear communication, punctuality and a steady approach under pressure. A person who notices a loose hose, a vacuum leak or a software setting before it becomes a problem is valuable here.
Because we install and support systems in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and other centres, some roles include travel. That can mean early starts, site work, machine relocation or helping a customer through a commissioning visit after load-shedding or a workshop power interruption. A flexible attitude goes a long way.
Training, service and growth in the field
Many people join us because they want to build real technical skill. Depending on the role, you may work alongside our service, applications or installation teams and learn about machine setup, vacuum systems, dust extraction, controller backups, spindle servicing and operator training. We prefer people who ask good questions and keep improving.
- Hands on learning with CNC routers and workshop systems
- Exposure to production sites, small shops and larger cell installations
- Practical experience with tooling, dust systems and maintenance routines
- Support from experienced staff across our Germiston base and branch areas
How to apply for future opportunities
If you want to be considered for future openings, send your CV through our contact form. Please include a short note that tells us what kind of role you are looking for, where you are based and what experience you have in CNC, service, sales or workshop support. If you have operator certificates, trade papers or a list of machines you have worked on, include that too.
We review applications as they come in. If your background matches a future need, we will get in touch directly. Please make sure your contact details are current and that your CV is easy to read.
Working from Germiston and serving the country
Our base in Germiston supports installations and service work across South Africa, including Johannesburg East, Midrand, Pretoria East, Durban North and Cape Town North. That means the people we hire may be part of local support or may travel for on-site work when a customer needs help with installation, commissioning or preventive maintenance.
We look for people who understand South African workshop conditions, from dust control and humidity to municipal power interruptions and tight production schedules. If that sounds like your kind of environment, we would like to hear from you.
