Book A Service

Book a planned service visit for inspection, fault diagnosis or preventive maintenance on your CNC router or workshop system. We support South African fabricators from Germiston and across the country with practical, on-site help.

Tell us what the machine is doing

If your router is cutting out of square, losing vacuum, making unusual spindle noise or stopping mid job, start here. Give us the machine model, the age if you know it, and a short note on when the fault started, what material was being cut and whether the issue is constant or comes and goes.

That basic detail helps us decide if we are coming for a fault diagnosis, a planned maintenance visit or a service that needs parts and tooling prepared in advance. It saves time on site and helps your team get back to production sooner, especially when orders are tight and the workshop cannot afford a second visit.

Choose the right type of service visit

Not every callout is the same. Some machines need a scheduled service after heavy use, while others need a clean inspection before a busy period, after a move or after power interruptions from load-shedding. We also assist when a machine has been stored, relocated or is being brought back into regular production.

  • Planned maintenance for regular wear checks and cleaning
  • Fault diagnosis for alarms, poor cutting or repeat errors
  • Spindle service checks for noise, heat and runout concerns
  • Vacuum leak checks where hold-down is weak or uneven
  • Controller backups before updates, repairs or relocation

What our technician checks on site

During the visit we work through the machine in a practical order. That normally includes the motion system, spindle condition, cable routing, limit switches, table condition, vacuum performance and the controller settings that affect cut quality. If needed, we also look at dust extraction balance because poor extraction can lead to hotter tooling and messy edges.

Where the machine is fitted with a vacuum table, we check for leaks, blocked lines and damaged gasketing. On older workshop installs we pay attention to power quality, earthing and cable wear because Johannesburg dust, humidity on the coast and seasonal power changes can all show up as control issues or inconsistent cuts.

We do not guess at a fix if the fault needs a proper repair. If parts or a follow-up visit are required, we will say so clearly and leave the machine and the workshop in a safe state before we go.

Prepare the workshop before we arrive

A few simple steps make the appointment faster and safer. Please clear access to the machine, have material samples ready if the problem appears on a specific board or sheet, and make sure someone on site can explain the fault history. If the machine has recently been moved, let us know where it was installed and whether the floor is level.

  • Switch off any unnecessary nearby machines
  • Keep compressed air available if the machine uses it
  • Have backup files or recent job files ready for review
  • Note any recent power cuts, voltage dips or alarm messages
  • Tell us if the issue changed after a tooling or material change

If you are unsure whether the problem is mechanical, electrical or software related, that is fine. Describe what you are seeing and we will work it through on site.

Service coverage from Germiston to the coast

Our Germiston base supports workshops in Johannesburg East, Midrand, Pretoria East, Durban North and Cape Town North, with installs and service visits arranged across South Africa. We work with sign shops, furniture makers, joiners and fabricators who need clear support, not vague advice.

Whether your workshop runs a single entry router or a production cell with dust and table options, we plan the visit around the machine, the job volume and the access available on site. Some locations need early access, some need security sign-in, and some need loading bay coordination. We can work with that.

Questions we get asked

How do I book a service visit?

Send your machine details, the fault or service request, your location and preferred timing through our contact form. We will respond with the next steps and what to prepare before the visit.

Can you help if the machine was recently relocated?

Yes. We handle machine relocation, re-commissioning and post-move checks. That includes levelling, calibration, controller backups and testing after the install is back in place.

Do you service machines outside Gauteng?

Yes. We support customers across South Africa, including coastal workshops where humidity, dust and power interruptions can affect CNC performance and maintenance intervals.
